The overall percentage odds are as follows: 44.91% for a player win, 55.03% for a dealer win, and 0.06% for a tie. An Ante Bonus may also be available if the player winds up with a straight or better.

It is fairly easy to see good x-card hands in x+1 cards. For example the probability of a three of a kind in three cards is 0.235%, and in four cards 0.922%, or almost four times higher. Last night, a fellow player at a 3-Card Poker table dropped his cards on the floor.

BASIC 3 CARD POKER STRATEGY. The usual strategy for when to make the Play wager is to bet whenever you have Queen-6-4 or better, including any time your high card is an Ace or a King, no matter how high your other two cards are, and also anytime your hand is Q-7 or better, regardless of your third card.

I know from the Wizard of Odds analysis that in regular casino 3-card poker you have a 3.48% edge on the house if you can see a dealer card, but that includes the Ante Bonus, which this game does not have.
