In general, a WTSD below 25 is a tight poker player who only goes to showdown with good hands. And somebody with a WTSD above 25 is typically a looser poker player who goes to showdown with mediocre hands. Most recreational poker players will have a WTSD of 30 or higher.

People often ask me what is a good WTSD (went to showdown percentage) in poker. This is a popular HUD stat that is usually abbreviated as WTSD or WTSD%. WTSD essentially tells you what percentage of the time somebody goes to showdown. Showdown in poker is when the cards are flipped over on the river and the person with the best hand wins the pot.

What are Good WTSD HUD Stats? There are no fixed, ideal WTSD poker stats; it depends a lot on your playing style. 6-max games will have slightly higher stats than full ring games. However, you can assume that anything between 25% and 35% is an ideal WTSD statistics. Less than 25%: Players with less than 25% WTSD poker stats suggest that they don’t go to showdowns quite often.

Went to showdown (WTSD) and Won money at showdown (W$SD) are two inversely correlated indicators in online poker which can be used to read your opponents’ behavior after the flop. As the percentage of hands a player goes to showdown with (WTSD) increases, the percentage of the hands he actually wins (W$SD) goes down (more hands=less quality).

What is the Meaning of WTSD in Poker? WTSD in poker refers to Went to Showdown. It basically tells you how often a player has stayed in the pot all the way to showdown. This means how often a player has stayed in it until it’s time to flip over the cards and show what you have. Alongside WWSF, WTSD is an important element when determining the type of player you are facing.

Good poker players typically have WTSD values around 25%. If ourWTSD value is significantly different from 25% it may indicate that we have leaks in our game. Why not check out the related term page on WWSF ?

WSD I think that 55-60% is good. Its depends ! If a player like negreanu see a lot of showdowns, like 60-70%, he wins more than 50%, becausr whe he had tobpair bc a set but he finding a good spot, he bluffs two pair and represent a straight or flush. Whe see a showdown, win a lot.

A good W$SD is somewhere between 49% and 54%. A correct frequency is dependent on the other two statistics mentioned. For example, a player who has a low Went to Showdown (WTSD) frequency will usually have a relatively high WSD and vice versa.

This could be by c-betting, bluffing, or by simply having the strongest poker hand at showdown. As the game has evolved, more and more players can have a WWSF that is above 50%. If you as a player see the flop with a strong range of hands, keeping a tight game could result in you winning more pots at showdown.
